Cookie Policy
This page explains essential browser storage and optional Google Analytics 4 cookies on MaryMe.
Essential preference storage
maryme-cookie-choice-v1 is a localStorage entry, not an analytics cookie. It remembers acceptance or refusal, the notice version and timestamps for six calendar months, without a visitor identifier. It is written when you make a choice. No analytics runs without a valid opt-in. If storage is unavailable, analytics stays off. Language is selected in the page address.
Optional analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4 is off by default. Only after acceptance does the site load the Google tag and allow _ga and _ga_ZSNS2QKPF6 cookies, used to distinguish browsers and maintain session statistics. Their configured maximum lifetime is 180 days without renewal on each page load. They are optional and can be refused. No advertising cookies or personalised advertising are enabled by this integration.
Statistics and data
Analytics measures page visits and, after consent, Contact views, email clicks and contact-button clicks. Custom events use only page type, language and the area containing the link; they do not include email addresses, link text, names or message contents. The page address sent to Analytics is the public canonical, without arbitrary query parameters or fragments. Enhanced measurement operates only after consent; the options enabled in the GA4 property determine which additional standard events are collected.
Temporary contact-click storage after consent
After analytics consent, clicking an internal Contact link may create the sessionStorage entry maryme-pending-contact-v1. It contains only the source page type, language, link area and timestamp, so the event can be emitted once on Contact without slowing navigation. It is removed on use or withdrawal, ignored after 30 seconds and otherwise removed when the tab closes. It contains no visitor identifier or email address.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Use Cookie preferences in the footer or the button below at any time. Refusing is as available as accepting. Closing the initial banner with × means refusing optional cookies. Scrolling or continuing to browse does not give consent. After six months, a missing, expired or invalid preference is requested again. When you withdraw, the site blocks future analytics and reloads without the Google tag. Deleting browser storage also removes the saved preference.
Local content and external services
Fonts, photographs and video are served by this website. Google is contacted for analytics only if you accept. External links and email buttons open services chosen by you. Aruba email forwarding to personal Gmail is a separate email process, described in the Privacy Policy.
